Coastal California

Since the California coast is 840 miles long, we broke this down into three sections depending on where you are visiting. If you are doing a California road trip and plan on covering two or three of these sections- even better! Just make sure to map your distances and plan accordingly.

"SoCal"

Southern California

The idyllic southern California dream- sun & fun. Every year millions of people flock to the golden state chasing a little slice of heaven. From Coronado (San Diego county) to Laguna Beach (Orange County) and Malibu (Los Angeles county), SoCal has over 100 beaches.

But our beach towns have so much more to offer than sand and waves. We will begin our journey from the most southern reaches in San Diego...

"Central Coast"

Central California

Beginning at the northern point of Malibu and stretching all the way to Monterey, coast road 101 is a roadtripper's dream. The rugged stretch of coastline known as Big Sur is one of the most famous coastal drives in the world.

The Central Coast offers a slower pace of life coupled with immense natural beauty where mountains meet the coast in perfect harmony. Iconic towns of this region include Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, and Morro Bay.

"NorCal"

Northern California

Of course people associate Northern California with San Francisco- one of the most diverse and unique cities in the world. What most people don't know is that SF is just the beginning of approximately 400 miles of wild and untamed beauty as Highway 101 stretches to Oregon.

NorCal is also home to some of California's most iconic landscapes and national parks such as Lake Tahoe, Sequoia National Park, the Redwoods State and National Parks, & Yosemite Natl Park.
